Hummingbird Global Cuts
The Amazon is a birdwatcher's paradise -and that is defenitly not a tourist brochure hype. About 1,500 bird species are known from lowland Amazonia - an that's about 15% of all known birds in only 4% of the world's land area. The Amazonian birds range from the world's most powerful bird of prey to some of the tiniest hummingbirds. Oddities such as the toucan, umbrella bird and hoatzin will baffle you. Flying jewels such as trogons, parrots and hummingbirds will dazzle you. In this collection you'll find the following birds, in order of appearance; Toucan Bird, Blue and Yellos Macaw Parrot, Nunbird, Northern Screamer, Scarlet Macaw, Manakin Bird, Amazon Parrots, Trumpeter Bird, Hoatzin Bird, Great Potoo and Forest Kingfisher. We have more South Amercan birds available in the South American Birds collection. The Birds Of The Amazon footage is shot with a 3CCD DVCAM camcorder and is supplied in flattened QuickTime format. It is shot and captured in NTSC format dimensions, 720 x 486 pixels, at a frame rate of 30 fps. PAL version available.
